Editorial Methodology

How we research, review and update

Transparency about the sources, reviewers, and standards behind every guide, benchmark and comparison on Devryon.

Primary + public-domain sources

Every stat cites its source: UDISE+ (Ministry of Education), NCERT, CBSE / ICSE circulars, RBI reports on education financing, NASSCOM EdTech reports, and anonymised data from the 850+ institutions on the Devryon network. We link directly to source documents — not aggregators.

Reviewed by working educators

Before publication, every guide is read by at least one practising school principal or academic head from our reviewer panel. Reviewers are named in the byline with their credentials and years of experience — not anonymous.

Comparisons are apples-to-apples

When we compare vendors we use publicly listed features, pricing and support terms as of the last-updated date. If a competitor is not listed for a feature it's marked 'not disclosed', never assumed absent. We disclose that Devryon is a party to every comparison.

Living documents

Pillar pages and benchmarks are re-reviewed every 90 days; comparison pages every 60 days. The 'Last updated' date is the date of the most recent substantive edit — not a build timestamp.

Corrections policy

If you spot a factual error, email editorial@devryon.com. Substantive corrections are logged at the bottom of the affected page with the date and a summary of what changed. We do not silently rewrite.

Our reviewer panel

Every guide is reviewed by a working educator. Meet the panel on our team page and our leadership page. Data-driven research is published under State of School ERP in India 2026.
